Guest: Hello
Hello! Destiny here!!
In response to Monica's guest book entry... I cannot retrieve your email address to contact you. You can email me directly at
I collect the signed Christmas cards and mail them in bulk rate boxes to a post overseas or put them in care packages that the Vietnam Veteran's send out. When cards arrive on bases overseas, the cards are up for grabs for whoever wants one so I suggest when writing a personal note inside to address it to "dear friend" or something general that will be fitting for a male or female. I send cards to all branches of the military so it could be a sailor, an airman, etc.
I know it's late in the year but if you'd like to get some cards signed I will hold them until Christmas 2010.
Another way to help is by purchasing cards after Christmas when they are on clearance. I can store them until next season.
Thank you and I hope to see you next year at the Willow Run Air Show!!

Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad you found my web site and took the time to read it and say hello.
Bev (Eadie) Miller is my Aunt. She helps me collect cards for the troops at the school she works at. I will forward your guest book entry on to her. I am sure she'd like to read it.
My parents are Mikel and Shada Eadie. I also have an older brother, Steven Eadie.
Thank you for your service and dedication!

Guest: "Thanks", from a veteran
Dear Destiny,
I don't quite know how I happened to find your "Cards From Destiny" web site, but I'm very glad I did. I like to read about our veterans and people who support them. You are doing a very nice thing to uplift the spirit of our servicepeople when they are far from their loved-ones and doing such difficult work. You do it from love and respect, and I hope that is always your motivation. Service to others, with true humility, will reward your life in numerous ways, and be a reward to so many you touch.
I have served on active duty in the Navy (aboard the USS KITTY HAWK), and also reserve duty in the Coast Guard Reserve, and the Naval Reserve. I have also served as a civilian officer in the Coast Guard Auxiliary. I am a life member of AMVETS.
I just want to say, "Thank you", for your honor and support for our military troops and veterans.
Tell your mother, Bev, "Hello, from Jimmy!". She'll know who I am.
With Love.

Guest: Greetings from Baghdad
Destiny,
All I can say is that I'm so proud of you. Your website looks amazing. What you are doing for soldiers goes farther than what you might think. Every card, letter, and package gives all of us encouragement that we need to make it through deployments. My father and I appreciate everything you do.

Guest: Enjoyed Your Website
I have enjoyed your website. It is encouraging to read about your dedication to our troops overseas. You are an absolute inspiration to young girls your age. You should be VERY proud of yourself and all that you have accomplished in your 13 years.  P.S. (enjoy your new phone)

Destiny: Thanks to everyone
Thanks to everyone who has signed the guest book. I'm glad that I am able to help in some way. I believe that if we all do something (even something small) it will all add up to something much larger!
I appreciate everyone's efforts in supporting our troops and our Veterans here at home too.

MAJ David D.: Thank you from Baghdad
Hi Destiny! My wife and 2 boys that are still at home (We have 2 girls and a boy that are married and on their own) sent me the Dec 7, 2008 Grand Rapids Press and I saw your article in it. I am based at the Al-Faw Palace in Baghdad after being involuntarily mobilized for the 2nd time and then deployed. I want to tell you how impressed I am at your efforts. I appreciate that you care about service members, most whom you never met or will ever meet, and that you want us to receive cards at a critical time of the year. It is an honor serving our country and indeed people like you make me proud to wear this uniform. (Although I am especially partial to Michiganders) Keep up the good work!

1LT Wren: Thank You
I just wanted to take this time and say thank you for your card and words of inspiration. It always makes it easier on my soldiers and I to know that people back home care about you and support what you are doing. The holidays are always the hardest time to be away from your family and friends however it makes it easier when people like you and your group show your support. Again thanks for taking the time out of your day to show your support. Thanks 1LT Wren.
